So excited to tell you all that I’ve worked on a little e-book to give you some fun end-of-year baking ideas! This book has five recipes that are all eggless, made with chocolate and festive ingredients like rum, caramel and orange. But I promise they’re the kind of recipes you can make all year round because chocolate is always welcome!
This book is for purchase at INR 500.
Send me an email on thedessertedgirl@gmail.com letting me know you want to buy it and whether you live in India or outside India so I can send you payment options accordingly. I will send you the payment details and once I receive it, the book will be mailed to you.
Four of the five recipes require an oven (by which I mean a regular OTG, I’ve not tested these in a microwave or convection oven) and they range from being fairly quick to more involved, but doable by all!
I hope you’ll buy it and love baking from it. Message me on Instagram with photos of your creations. Read on to get a preview of what’s inside!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Swirl Toffee
The ‘toffee’ here is a buttery, crunchy caramel base with salted peanuts. Dark chocolate makes the second layer which is then swirled with peanut butter. It’s so, so delicious!
Chocolate Cake Truffles with rum & orange
A simple eggless chocolate cake batter is turned into fudgy, boozy cake balls with a crunchy coating of dark chocolate to give them the truffle treatment! They get even better after a few days making them perfect for planning ahead.
Double Chocolate Cookies
Crispy and slightly chewy in the center, packed with chocolate chips and really easy to make. They have a citrusy kick from orange zest to make them extra special. These are perfect for dunking into a cosy hot beverage!
Baked Chocolate Rum Cheesecake with rum ganache
Rich, creamy, intensely chocolatey with a crunchy biscuit base and silky ganache topping! One slice of this cheesecake goes a long way and if you want to skip the rum for a plain chocolate cheesecake, that’s possible too.
Triple Chocolate Bread
This is actually a bread, not a cake (unlike say, ‘banana bread’) and it’s got cocoa, melted chocolate and chocolate chunks in a soft, yeasted dough. I love it slightly warmed with some salted butter, soooo good. This one took me a couple of tries to get it right without the egg and I hope you’ll enjoy it!
