A friend told me it’s World Nutella Day today! I can’t believe I didn’t know that. Considering how obsessed I am with this miracle spread, this unawareness is near blasphemy.
I didn’t want to bombard everyone with incessant Facebook posts, so figured this is a better place to talk more about the awesomeness that is Nutella.
While all I really need with it is a spoon, a jar of Nutella goes a long way in making the most fabulous desserts. Here are my favourite ways to use it 🙂
My first ever post on the blog, recreated for my first blogversary. Soft, chewy cookies, spiked with Amarula. Mix, heat, cool, roll, eat.
Sound easy? Good.
Another recipe early on in the life of The Desserted Girl. Fluffy muffins stuffed with gooey, melty Nutella, topped with an irresistible combination of cinnamon and powdered sugar.

The EASIEST thing you will ever make. And oh my god, so good.
Please excuse this very not ok photo. I was just starting out. I promise it tastes unbelievable!No-bake Nutella Cheesecake
These guys. Oh. My. God.
You can’t taste the Nutella, but you can sure feel it. It does things to the texture of these brownies I’d never dreamed of. They are crazy fudgy. And ten times more chocolatey than these.
This cake should not even be here. Because it’s so rich, you will hate yourself. But Nutella isn’t exactly a big head of lettuce, either.
Soft, moist, bursting with creamyness and chocolateyness. So bad. But so good. Go forth!
Let there be a moment of silence for Nutella. Our lives would be so dull without it.
Happy Nutella Day, you guys! Go bake now 🙂
